Welcome to 7th & 8th Grade Spanish
My goal is for the students to feel comfortable with the Spanish language. My curriculum is in alignment with the National Standards for Learning Languages within the Common Core Strands of Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening. These are incorporated in the standards for learning languages in various ways:
- Interpersonal: Speaking, listening, writing , and reading
- Interpretive: Reading, listening, and viewing
- Presentational: Writing, speaking, and visually representing

To log on:
- Login on the Pawling CSD main page (portal)
- Choose the “Rosetta Stone” icon (Yellow-blue)
- Use a set of headphones to work on Chromebook or Desktop/Laptop.
- Username: First initial + last name (one word- lowercase)
- Password: Your student ID number without The S in front of it. Example 12207
- Do the speech recognitions test: Count slow or say the alphabet.
Don’t stop talking until it is finished registering your voice and speak softly. The audio is very sensitive.
- Remember to choose “ Internal Microphone” on the bottom right bar.
