About Me

Hello, and welcome!

My name is Alisa Wood and this is my second year with Pawling Central Middle School. I graduated from Hofstra University on Long Island with my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in 2011.  I then attended Marist College in order to obtain my Master's Degree in School Psychology and completed that program in 2014. This is my 6th year as a School Psychologist,  having worked with students from Preschool through 12th grade. While the majority of my experience has been with elementary students, I have always loved working with adolescents and the unique challenges they face. I am so happy to be a part of this team and community!

I was born and raised right up the road and still live in this neck of the woods with my husband, two daughters and our dog, Chevy. I enjoy nothing more than spending time with my family and trying new things. I am an avid reader...recommendations are always welcome. My hobbies also include cooking and crafting.
